Former Mayor, Deputy Mayor and long term member of Wagga Wagga City Council, John Harding  offers a depth of experience and commuity commitment to the Credit Union Board.

John was a foundation Director of Riverina Community Cancer Care (the Radiotherapy Trust), a past Chairman of Wagga Wagga TAFE Council, and has a long involvement in Scouting, Adult Education, the Arts and several welfare groups. Professionally John was responsible for international marketing and project management for Charles Sturt University. He is committed to reconciliation, to economic growth in Wagga Wagga and, being retired from fulltime work, can devote his energies to interests such as Wagga Mutual Credit Union.

  • Former Assistant General Manager, Town & Country Building Society, Perth W.A.
  • Audit Supervisor - Coopers & Lydrand. 
  • Director of National Credit Union Association (NCUA).
  • Director and Former President of the Wagga Wagga Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
  • Member of Rotary Club of Wollundry.

Glenn has over 30 years experience in the mutual sector, the past 15 at C.E.O. and Director level.  Glenn has worked in the U.K. and Europe as well as Australia.  He is passionate about helping the communities in which he comes into contact through the benefits mutuality delivers.  The Community Sponsorship Account is one such benefit which Glenn brought to Wagga Mutual following its success in the U.K and Premier League Soccer.

Experience and Qualifications

 

 Glenda has served on numerous Boards and Management Committees including the Wagga Wagga Arts and Cultural Advisory Council as Treasurer, the Eastern Riverina Arts Board as the Treasurer, Public Officer and Scretary, Australian National Festival of the Voice, Riverina Theatre Company, Riverina Conert Band and Lifline Riverina. She has also participated in a number of Steering Committees for Wagga Wagga City Council in the areas of Cultural Planning and Performing Arts Partnerships.

 

Glenda holds a Bachelor of Arts nad has pursued a career in Arts Administration since graduating. She has been employed as the Administrator for a variety of arts organisations including the Riverina Theatre Company, Wagga Wagga Writers Writers, and the Riverina Conservatorium of Music and as a Publicist for the Wagga Wagga Civic Theatre, Glenda is employed as the Senior Editor and Acting Manager of Marketing Communications with the Division of Marketing at Charles Sturt University.

 

Glenda is an advocate for the positive role that socially responsible businesses have to play in the development and growth of social capital

Peter is currently employed as the Manager of Edel Quinn Shelter and also a past President of Tolland Soccer Club and a delegate to the Wagga District Soccer Asoociation.
